Antelope
Impala frequently associated with the baboons and did not expect to encounter humans—at least not at first. I took this photograph from behind a tree, but on one occasion, while sitting in dense brush watching some baboons, a curious impala approached and brought its nose within two feet of my face. After several seconds, it turned and walked away—fortunately without kicking.
White Island baboons pass a large group of impala while returning to their sleeping trees in the late afternoon.
Red lechwe are a semi-aquatic antelope found often in shallow water along the edges of floodplains.

Warthogs sometimes associated with the baboons. Here one caught wind of nearby humans.
Tsessebe and zebra were often seen together in small groups.
This is my only photo of wildebeest, which were quite common in small groups.
